Family Reunions and Get Togethers
The Bermed Lodge offers a spacious area for your family reunion or get together.
There are 7 rooms, 5 single and 2 suites, that can hold up to 26 guests. Room 5 is our largest suite and offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining room, a king-sized bed, 2 full-sized beds, and a full kitchen.
There is a common area for dining and lounging, a fire pit for late-night conversations, and a large field for games and running around.
Dogs are a part of many families and are welcome at the lodge.
Cabins and camping are also available.
Animal experiences happen throughout the farming season. Events include sheep shearing demonstrations, lamb petting, and—when the occasion calls for it—bottle feeding.
If you are staying on site ask a staff member if you can enter the paddock to pet the lambs. All guests are welcome to pet and take pictures from outside the fence.
Two miles of wilderness trails are available on-site for guests. The trails lead to our "Virginia is for Lovers" LOVE sign, and all lodging, the paddock, and our pond.
